VESPEL
Vespel has the best heat resistance and abrasion resistance among high-performance resins. Since it was merchandised in 1962, it has been widely used as components in aircraft, aerospace and munitions industries as well as modern-day applications including automotive, OA equipment, electronics, scientific instruments, industrial machinery, production facilities, etc.
Features
Ultra heat resistance: continuous operating temperature 288℃, short time 480℃, extremely low temperatures (1k or less).
Abrasion resistance: PV limit without lubrication is more than 10 times that of most engineering plastics.
Creep at 260℃ and 186kg/㎠ is no more than 0.6% per 1,000 hours.
Electrical insulation: dielectric strength 22KV/mm
Plasma and Radiation Strengths
Chemical Resistance: resistant to grease, oil solvent
Resistance to gas release in 10-10 vacuum: high vacuum torr
Excellent machinability
